Fu Hsi
  • god of happiness
  • symbolized by the bat
  • was the mythical first emperor of china and is reputed to be the inventor of writing, fishing and trapping
  • miraculous birth as a divine being with a serpents body
  • he discovered the famous Chinese trigrams from a turtle shell
  • he domesticated animals, to people to cook, fish with nets, and hunt with weapons made of iron.
  • he instituted marriage and offered the first open air sacrifice to heaven
  • usually shown wearing furs
  • his prewriting device called the eight trigrams was a combination of straight and broken lines and led to Chinese script
Myth
His miraculous birth, as a divine being with a serpent’s body, is said to have occurred in the 29th century bce. Some representations show him as a leaf-wreathed head growing out of a mountain or as a man clothed with animal skins. Fu Xi is said to have discovered the famous Chinese trigrams (baqua) used in divination (notably in the //Yijing//) and thus to have contributed, in some uncertain way, to the development of the Chinese writing system. He domesticated animals, taught his people to cook, to fish with nets, and to hunt with weapons made of iron. He likewise instituted marriage and offered the first open-air sacrifice to heaven

My Opinion
I believe him to be like a renaissance man
Scenario
An ordinary couple hit a bump in their marriage and cant seem to get over it to the other side. This causes the marriage between the two of them to crumble. Fu Hsi (being the one who created marriage and the laws that go into marriage) would strongly object to any kind of seperation and would suggest ways to help them salvage their marriage.
